Victory Fund

Over $1,158,000 contributed as a result of state wide Victory Fund Events.

Numerous public and private golf courses across Illinois host IWGA Victory Fund Events.  These Victory Fund Events enable the IWGA to contribute $20,000 per year to 10 Illinois 2 or 4 year public Colleges. In addition to supporting our universities, an individual  scholarship to a graduating high school senior and stipends to USGA junior and state team qualifiers, the IWGA holds true to its origins with support of veterans’ programs and medical research.

If your club already participates, we thank you. If not, we invite you to join the Victory Fund team.

The Internal Revenue Service has granted the Illinois Women’s Golf Association a 501 (C) (3) tax exempt status. Anyone wishing to make a donation to the IWGA  may claim this as a charitable donation.

At the State and Senior Tournaments, Pam Henning, IWGA President and the Tournament Chair will present the local charity with a check for $1500. We present a check to the host club’s charity of their choice. The money comes from our Victory Fund.
