2016 Inductee is Sue Young
Our Hall of Fame inductee this year was Sue Young from Champaign.
The award was presented at the 47th Annual State Senior Women’s Amateur at Champaign Country Club, September 14, 2016. She was nominated by Sue Boeye, Mary Boehm and Suzanne Younger.Sue Boeye presented the program honoring Sue. She presented her with an etched crystal vase with a dozen red roses. Sue was also presented with the traveling plaque with her name engraved, along with the previous honorees: Shirley Dommers, Lois Drafke,2008, Evelyn Davis, 2009, Marlene Miller, 2011, Renee Slone, 2013, Marilyn Dechert, 2015.

ecial Note – November 2016 issue – Rich Skyzinski of Golf Week- Editor- Custom Media came to Champaign, interviewed Sue, took pictures and will do an article for Golfweek magazine about her Hall of Fame honor.
