About the IWGA State Junior Girl’s Championship

The IWGA annually sponsors and administers the Illinois State Junior Girl’s Championship. The event is open to girls who are residents of Illinois, have a handicap of 40 or less or a scoring average or 120 or less, and have not yet reached their 19th birthday or begun college.
The tournament format is 36 holes of stroke play with flights being determined by the first round scores. The event focuses on providing a friendly competitive atmosphere for girls of all golfing abilities.
